499,799. Cooling cylinders. SULZER FRERES SOC. ANON. July 30, 1937, No. 21159. Convention date, Sept. 22, 1936. [Class 7 (ii)] In a cylinder having opposed pistons, passages 13, 14 for the cooling fluid are so formed, in the wall surrounding the central combustion chamber, that they are nearest the cylinder bore at the central section. They may be formed in two straight sections as shown, or in single straight sections arranged obliquely to the cylinder axis. Byepasses 15 may be arranged round the fuel-injection devices.
