Abstract
494,648. Draught-excluders for hinged windows. PERCIVAL, S. (Chamberlain Metal Weather Strip Co.) March 25, 1938, No. 9244. [Class 20 (iii)] Weather - excluding means for hinged metalframed windows comprise a resilient metal strip having a part 7 adapted to clamp on to the sash and a double bent extension 10 and lip 13 adapted to engage the inside edge 12 and face of the frame. A layer of felt 9 may be interposed between the folded ends. At the hinged edge, the folded end 13 is bent inwardly to contact the inner surface of the frame member, Fig. 4.
