Abstract

399,364. Weather-excluders for windows. JOHNSON, 0. G., 48, 210th Street, Bayside, New York, U.S.A. Jan. 21, 1933, No. 2008. [Class 20 (iii).] A weather-strip for windows, particularly hinged windows, comprises a resilient metal strip having a flange 27 for securing to the frame and an extension 28 connected to said flange by two or more folds 29 adapted to engage the sash. The flange 27 is preferably folded double and may be provided with a felt or like packing strip secured at its edge by the fold. At the hinged edge of the window, the flange 27 is bent at its edge 31<1> to pass freely over the sash when closing.
