Abstract
494,572. Photographic materials. HALDEN & CO., Ltd., J., and HOLDEN, J. Feb. 27, 1937, No. 5937. [Class 98 (ii)] " Blue-print paper or cloth for use in the ferro-prussiate process is made by applying to the surface one or more solutions, in neutral or alkaline condition, containing an iron salt, a ferri-cyanide or a ferro-cyanide or both, buffer salts and a nitrate in one solution, or the nitrite being applied in a separate solution. Sodium or ammonium nitrite may be used, and a chlorate may be added to provide a mild oxidizing action. Examples of sensitizing solutions and developers are given, and the invention may be applied to the paper described in Specification 418,369, and used with the powder described in Specification 435,936.
