454,622. Colour photography. KODAK, Ltd., Kingsway, London.-(Eastman Kodak Co. ; 343, State Street, Rochester, New York, U.S.A.) March 29, 1935, No. 25940/36. Divided out of 454,499. [Class 98 (ii)] The processing of photographic elements consisting of two or more layers containing different colour record images on a single support as described in Specification 427,518 in which the diffusion of a bleaching or developing bath is controlled by the presence therein of a water-soluble loading agent, is modified by the use of a colour developing bath whose diffusion is thus controlled. Similar control may be applied in addition to a fixing or toning bath including a dye-toning bath. The loading agents given in Specifications 454,498 and 454,499 may be used. An example is given of a colour developing bath comprising 2-amino-5- diethylamino-toluene hydrochloride, sodium sulphite, sodium carbonate, p-nitro-phenylacetonitrile, acetone, and iso-propyl alcohol. The bath may also contain a thiocyanate as described in Specification 453,233. Specifications 427,472, 427,520, 440,032, and 447,092 also are referred to.
