Abstract

1,186,713. Direct positive emulsions. EASTMAN KODAK CO. March 10, 1967 [March 11, 1966; Jan.17, 1967], No.11293/67. Heading G2C. Direct positive emulsions comprising fogged silver halide grains are characterised in that (i) an electron acceptor is absorbed on the surface of the grains and (ii) the grains are fogged to such an extent that after development they satisfy a specified chemical bleach test. The fogging agents, electron acceptors and emulsions may be of the type described in Specifications 1,186,711 and 1,186,712.
