488,779. Electromagnetic interrupters. BRITISH N. S. F. CO., Ltd. (Nurnberger Schraubenfabrik und Facondreherei) Oct. 22, 1937, No. 28876. [Class 38 (v)] An electric vibrator 1 is mounted in a sealed container filled with a gas such as hydrogen or nitrogen or with a liquid so as to prevent oxidation of the contacts. The vibrator is suspended by springs 3 from a frame 2 clamped at 6 to the foot tube of the glass container and blocks of cork 8 prevent vibration of the frame. If the gas is at low pressure the device is still more silent.
