Sept. 27, 1946, No. 28934 [Class 39 (i)] An electric discharge lamp or lightning arrester has a filling comprising a mixture of krypton and water vapour to ensure that the discharge space becomes rapidly de-ionized. A stroboscopic lamp can have a filling of krypton and water vapour at pressures of 120 and 6 mms. of mercury respectively.
