[Class 57] [Also in Group XXVII] An automatic throttle valve 59 in the mixture passage of a carburetter is mounted eccentrically on a shaft 60 extending into a housing compartment 61 and biassed by a spring 64. The valve tends to close on an increase of suction and the movements of an arm 65 on the shaft 60 are limited by a fixed and an adjustable stop.
