486,513. Seat frames; spring mountings. MELDER, H., (trading as MUCKEMELDERWERKE). Sept. 3, 1936, Nos. 24123 and 24124. Void. Convention dates, Sept. 3, 1935 and Feb. 1, 1936. [Class 52 (ii)] The back and seat parts of a seat are supported independently by the upturned ends ofacommon support 9, Fig. 2, which lies in the central plane of the seat. The upper ends of the back supports 5, 6, Fig 1, of two or more seats may be connected. The back support may comprise two tubes, hinged at 19, Fig. 5, to the base member 18. Fig. 8 shows a further modification. The parts of the frame may be connected by various forms of resilient connecting means, e.g. coiled springs, or rubber sleeves, or bushes.
