Abstract

261,200. Schneider, J. J. H. Dec. 5, 1925. Seat frames; spring supports; bottoms. - A chair is provided with a front bar 4 which comprises a resilient member. The rear bar 6 may be of the same construction, and each bar may be formed of a spiral spring, a number of connected spiral springs, or rubber. The side bars 1, 3 may be connected by a rigid U-shaped member 18 which may be pivoted directly to the bars 1, 3 as shown in Fig. 4, or may pivot upon pins 24 which also support the bar 4. The bars 4, 6 may pass through hems in the ends of the seating 13, and may be detachably connected to the side members by pins 17.
