Abstract

484,593. Fountain pens. MENTMORE MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and ANDREWS, A. E. Nov. 7, 1936, No. 30368. [Class 146 (iii)] In a fountain pen of the kind in which the nib-section is connected to a transparent or translucent barrel or barrel-part, the barrel or barrel-part is formed over the whole or part of its internal surface with screw-threads, grooves, or like formations 8 in which the ink collects to simulate a laminated structure. The pen is preferably of the kind described in Specification 439,182 wherein an air-tube 11 open to the reservoir near the front end, and a collapsable sac 4 connected to the rear end of the reservoir, are provided.
