Abstract

479,127. Heating air. DEHN. F. B. (Mueller Furnace Co., L. J.) July 27, 1936, No. 20789. [Classes 64 (i) and 64 (iii)] Air drawn through a casing 12 by a fan 14 is heated by hot gases flowing through a passage 28 around the scroll of the fan. The heated air is discharged from the fan into an annular space 9 around the furnace 8, from which hot gases flow through an outlet 26 into the passage 28. The gases are discharged through a flue 31 at the bottom of the casing.
