[Class 64 (i)] Hot gases from a burner 1 are drawn by a fan 8 through sectional radiator elements 4 enclosed by a casing 2 through which air passes over the radiator elements from a bottom inlet 15 to outlet slots 16 at the top. When the fan is not running, the gas supply to the burner is automatically cut off by a regulator 10. The gas supply may also be cut of when the temperature of the room exceeds a certain value, or when the temperature in the region of the pilot burner falls owing to the extinction of the pilot light. Air may be admitted to the hot gas stream before entering the radiator sections.
