Abstract

475,754. Electric hair-waving heaters. CALDERON, M., and CALDERON, Ltd., M. Aug. 22, 1936, No. 23136. [Class 39 (iii)] An electrical hair-waving apparatus comprises a number of heaters each of which bakes a tress of hair and each of which is individually provided with one or more fuses of a current carrying capacity only slightly in excess of the normal current required by the heater. Each heater 11 is mounted in a casing 13. An extension 14 is moulded in one with the crown of the casing and contains fuses 15 one in each connecting lead to the heater. An earthing wire 20 also passes through the extension and is connected to the central metal tube on which the heater is wound.
