Abstract
473,844. Cathode-ray tubes; photoelectric cells. FERNSEH AKT.-GES. April 20, 1936, No. 11274. Convention date, April 18, 1935. [Class 39 (i)] In a cathode-ray tube or photo-electric cell a resistive, black-coating is applied to the inside of the envelope and consists of colloidal material with which a small amount of water glass may be mixed as a binder. The material may be a mixture of colloidal graphite with colloidal copper oxide or it may be colloidal manganese oxide. In a photo-electric cell caesium will not adhere readily to the coated part of the envelopes.
