Abstract

A magnetic material for dust cores is produced by the reduction of an intimate mixture of finely divided iron oxide, nickel oxide, and copper oxide. The resultant material may contain copper in an amount equal to 2-15 per cent of the total iron and nickel present e.g. the iron : nickel : copper ratio may be 78,5 : 21,5 : 5. Specifications 327,865 and 419,953 are referred to.
