Abstract

207,015. Torrance, D. A. Nov. 1, 1922. Fluxes.-A flux for soldering comprises a mixture of resin and tallow, in the proportion of about one pound of tallow to one and a half pounds of resin. The tallow is melted, the resin ground to a fine powder .and added to the tallow, and the whole thoroughly mixed. The mixture is heated to near its boiling point and then cooled slowly to form a paste. A deodorizing composition may be added to the mixture.
