Abstract

A flux for use in soldering aluminium, aluminium alloys, and other metals consists of Venice turpentine, capaba balsam, resin, and paraffin oil in specified proportions. The turpentine and balsam are mixed and heated, melted resin is added, and, after cooling the mixture, the paraffin oil is finally added.
