Abstract
467,747. Thermal switches. SCHLAICH, H. Feb. 10, 1936, No. 4000. Convention date, Feb. 9, 1935. [Class 38 (v)] [Also in Group XIX] The pointer 4 of a thermometer of the Bourdon tube type engages at a predetermined temperature with a contact 24 attached to a coil spring 23 passing through an aperture in the scale plate, an alarm circuit thus being completed. The rubbing action of the pointer on the contact cleans the contact surfaces.
