[Class 139] [Also in Group XX] A combination instrument for use with a photographic developing tank comprises a tubular stirrer 10 arranged to rotate a reel 22 by means of a connecting pin-and-slot 20, 21, the head 14 of the stirrer carrying a watch 13, and the part 15 a thermometer 17. The thermometer scale may be visible in an opening 18 or may be coiled around the watch to be visible from the same position as the watch. Alternatively, the thermometer may comprise a bimetallic strip. A pre-set time indicator may be arranged adjacent to the watch to indicate the time at which development will be complete.
