467,194. Silencing gaseous currents. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R. Dec. 12, 1935, No. 34450. Convention date, Dec. 21, 1934. [Class 7 (ii)] [Also in Group XXVIII] Air enters a cylindrical filter c axially and leaves it radially ; the filter is closed at the end by an imperforate plate g, and is enclosed by a casing a which by its tapering shape and felt &c. lining silences the flow; the outlet h is in line with the inlet, which is lined with felt &c. The filter may comprise spirals of brass strip, and is surrounded by a fine filter f of wire fabric.
