Abstract

465,405. Valve circuits for wireless reception. FERRANTI, Ltd., and TAYLOR, M. K. Oct. 2, 1935, No. 27178. [Class 40 (v)] In a receiver particularly for television a high frequency valve m is coupled by a tuned coupling circuit n and an additional load impedance k that is large over a range of frequency to be preserved in the demodulated output to a rectifier. The additional load impedance k is connected between the valve anode l and the tuned circuit n. As shown, a triode rectifier is employed with coupling condensers b, c in each input lead so that the load resistance h can be directly connected to the . electrodes of the cathode ray tube. The rectifier may be a diode on other type of rectifier not requiring a high tension supply.
