463,593. Overhead lamps. KORTING & MATHIESEN AKT.-GES. May 6, 1936, No. 12767. Convention date, May 8, 1935. [Class 75 (iv)] An overhead lamp for direct lighting, especially for photography and film studios, comprises a frame 11, 2 fitted with incandescent lamps surrounded by downwardly reflecting mirrors 3<1>, 32, 3<3>, at least the lower part of the frame being surrounded by a single member 4 constituting a continuous screen, which is adjustably attached to the frame so that the lateral distribution of light may be varied. Bolts on the frame pass through slots 6 in the screen, so that the latter is adjustable vertically. The screen may be square or circular, and has feet 7 for use when set down.
