458,799. Vehicle wheels. STEVENS, A. H., 5, Quality Court, Chancery Lane, London. (Firestone Steel Products Co. ; Main Street, Akron, Ohio, U.S.A.) June 28, 1935, No. 18554. [Classes 144 (i) and 144 (ii)] A mounting-ring 31 riveted to the tyre-carrying rim 30, and detachably secured against a narrow rib 32 on the brakedrum 21, has re-entrant portions forming gaps 39 in radial alignment with the attachment-bolts 34, and elongated apertures 40 between the bolts. The brake-drum, shown integral with the hub 20, is formed with apertures 24, a cover 26 fitted with an ornamental end-cap 29 being secured to the web of the drum by setscrews 25.
