Abstract

354,556. Pneumatic tyres. GOODYEAR TIRE & RUBBER CO., 1144, East Market Street, Akron, Ohio, U.S.A. Aug. 15, 1930, No. 24500. Convention date, Oct. 4, 1929. [Class 144 (ii).] The bead portions of a tyre cover 10, of the type fitted directly on a hubbarrel 12, are formed with ribs 17 to engage in grooves 24 in the tyreretaining flanges 18, 19. Both flanges are prevented from rotation on the hub by means of dowels 32, the flange 19 being secured by nuts 29.
