371,220. Wheel rims. GOODYEAR TIRE & RUBBER CO., 1144, East Market Street, Akron, Ohio, U.S.A. July 6, 1931, No. 19432. Convention date, Aug. 21, 1930. [Class 144 (ii).] A tyre-supporting rim comprises a base member 11 provided at one side with a gutter to which is secured a side member 18, the outer wall 14 of the gutter having a series of circumferentially but non-uniformly spaced slots and the side member 18 having lugs 20, corresponding to the slots, to engage the gutter in the manner of a bayonetjoint. A spring-operated latch is provided which co-operates with both members 11, 18 to prevent relative rotational movement.
