[Class 144 (ii).] The pneumatic tyre B is formed with round-section beaded edges b engaging the correspondinglyshaped flanges of a segmental rim A (of the kind described in Specification 204,219, [Class 144 (ii), Wheel tyres, Pneumatic &c.]), and grooves in a ring F of resilient material which projects above the height of the rim-flanges to support the tyre tread in case of deflation.
