431,516. Wheel tyres. AYGUESVIVES, S. D', 3, Rue Anatole-de-la-Forge, Paris, and TOSONI, D. T., 14, Place Saccovanzetti, Clichy, both in France. Jan. 3, 1934, No. 270. Convention date, Feb. 28, 1933. [Class 144 (ii)] Tyre treads are formed with closely-spaced, narrow, transverse grooves 1 of curved form so as to provide spaced blocks which are adapted to abut to give a saw-tooth formation to the tread under tangential stresses, as shown in Fig. 2. Fig. 4 shows typical forms of grooves G, H, I, the latter embodying also circumferential grooves 1, 3. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 401,479.
