[Class 40 (iii)] A short-wave resonator comprising an axial conductor 1 together with two bell-shaped portions 2, 3 is coupled to an external circuit such as an aerial circuit 8 by means of a loop 5 within the resonator. The capacity can be adjusted by turning the screwed flange 7, and the coupling by turning the loop 5.
