Abstract
438,255. Wireless receiving-apparatus. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN, Emmasingel, Eindhoven, Holland. April 23, 1935, No. 12222. Convention date, July 2, 1934. [Class 40 (v)] In a supersonic heterodyne receiver resonance with the incoming signal is indicated by the use of one or more lightly damped resonance circuits coupled to the intermediate frequency amplifier and connected to a valve in the direct current circuit of which a lamp or the like is provided. The Figure shows an arrangement in which the detector D gives automatic volume control and a valve V is fed from the intermediate frequency transformer II through a coupling coil L. In the anode circuit a lightly damped circuit S is provided associated with a rectifier AG and lamp R1.
