382,809. Disturbance filters for supply systems. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN, 13D, Emmasingel, Eindhoven, Holland. Jan. 8, 1932, No. 596. Convention date, Jan. 30, 1931. [Class 38 (iv).] In order to suppress radio frequency disturbances in power conductors without introducing high impedance to current of the supply frequency, choke coils are connected in each conductor and are arranged on a common core in such manner that no resultant flux of the supply frequency is produced in the core. Fig. 1 shows an arrangement in which one coil only is provided in each lead, and Fig. 2 shows an alternative arrangement in which a pair of coils are provided in each lead, the component fluxes being indicated by arrows in each case.
