453,312. Display cartons. HOWITT & SON, Ltd., J., and HOWITT, J. A., Ashforth Street, Nottingham. Oct. 17, 1935, No. 28652. [Class 18] [See also Group XVIII] A carton of the type comprising a base, side and end walls and a foldable or hinged top constructed from two creased or scored cardboard or like blanks is provided with a foldable pedestal composed of a central panel 13 hinged to the body and two tapered wings 14 which interlock with the base by tongues 15 engaging slots 16. The two blanks shown in the Figure are secured together at 2a. A part 4 which constitutes a lid and a display panel is passed up within the back of wall 9 after flaps 8 are folded inwardly.
