Abstract

776,225. Cartons. REED CORRUGATED CASES, Ltd. [formerly THOMPSON & NORRIS MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd.]. Aug. 15, 1955 [Oct. 4, 1954], No. 23515/55. Class 18. [Also in Group XVIII] A tubular carton is scored so that after the closed top is severed from one side and the ends to open it, a part 23 of the other side, and the top may be folded inwards to form two contents supporting display shelves. The inward folding is facilitated by scores 21, 22 and the shelves are defined by scores 18, 19 and 31, the edge portion 27 of the top resting against the rear wall 5. The rear shelves may be supported on one of the partition elements 14 used in the packing. The lid may be scored parallel to the scores 31 adjacent the part 23, Figs. 8-12 (not shown) to give a lower rear shelf.
