Abstract

704,638. Showcards. PONTY, M. Oct. 8, 1951 [Dec. 13, 1950], No. 23356/51. Class 3(2), [Also in Group XVII] A container combined with a showcard comprises two boxes hinged together at. one upper edge and having the showcard extending from adjacent side walls, and folding between the boxes when they are superimposed. Each box may be formed from a blank as shown, which is folded to tubular form and an element 15 glued to the wall 11. Two blanks are then secured by gluing together elements 9 which, with the remainder 4 of the showcard, folds between them to form a collapsed unit. In erecting the unit, wall and end tabs 16 are glued to walls 13, 14, tops 22 and bottoms 10 to close the ends, and flaps 21 on the superimposed elements 9 are secured to the tops 22 to produce a container similar to that shown in Fig. 1. The filled boxes are folded one on to the other and secured by tape.
