448,724. Vehicle draw-gear. DYSON, J., POLLARD, T. A., and DYSON & CO., Ltd., R. A., 76, Grafton Street, Liverpool. Feb. 15, 1935, No. 4849. [Class 103 (v)] An ordinary Y-shaped drawbar is provided with one or more additional arms 14 secured to and reinforcing the stem 3 and formed at each end with a coupling eye, the additional arm or arms being preferably disposed between the ordinary side arms 4, 5 and taking the strain if one of these breaks. The bar or arm 14 is clamped to the stem 3 by straps 17 and plates 18 secured by nuts 20. The tractor coupling pin passes through both the eye 6 and the eye on the bar 14, but normally only the eye 6 takes the tractive strain, the other eye being of larger diameter.
