Abstract

571,820. Vehicle couplings. COLLING- HAM, J., and KEEP, G. E. June 3, 1943, No. 8955. [Class 103 (v)] Coupling means between a tractor and trailer comprises a pair of links, one being a single link b and the other comprising two links d, the links being connected together by a single pivot e and each having at its other end a pair of holes to receive either one or two pins to connect the links to the tractor and trailer respectively so as to have either a rigid or pivotal connection as required at either end. Connection by a pin c to a plate a as described in Specification 571,818 is shown in the Figure; the invention may also be used with the coupling means described in Specification 571,819.
