Class 103(v) In a tractor-trailer coupling of the type described in Specification 665,827 whereby it is possible for the tractor driver to use the hydraulic power lift to engage the coupling. hook 27 on the tractor with the tow-bar 20 on the trailer without leaving his seat, the claims are directed mainly towards the crossbar 30 which is provided to limit the possible rearing angle of the tractor. The bar 30 has at its ends two pins 29A which serve to connect the usual draught links 1 with further links 29 coupled at their lower ends to the hook arm 26, this arrangement ensuring that the hook cannot be engaged by power operation unless the crossbar 30 is in place.
