[Class 106 (v)] In a measuring tap having an inlet tube 1 to which it is intended to fit a cork sleeve or closure 6 adapted to be inserted into the neck of a bottle, the lower end 2 of the tube is tapered outwardly towards its base and is screwthreaded. In practice, the cork is bored out to slide on to the outside of the unscrewed portion and is fastened by being screwed on to the tapered portion.
