444,743. Kneading &c. machines. KEMPER, J., 12, Langestrasse, Neuenkirchen, Kreis Wiedenbr³ck, Germany. Dec. 13, 1935, No. 34576. [Class 86] The removable trough of a kneading &c. machine is driven by the engagement of a bevel wheel thereon with a pinion carried on an inclined shaft which can be swung slightly in a vertical plane to effect meshing of the pinion. The shaft 5, driven from a vertical shaft 1, is provided with spherical bushes 6, 11, the latter being carried by a pin 19 mounted so as to be movable vertically in a block 20. The adjustment is effected by a lever, one end of which engages a slot 21 in the pin, the lever being fitted with a locking sector.
