[Class 60.] Apparatus for grinding rollers with a convex longitudinal curvature, i.e. of barrel shape, comprises a grinding-disc a on a shaft b journalled eccentrically in a bushing c secured to a lever e and rotatable in the frame of the apparatus. The lever e is moved towards and from the axis of the rotating work by means of a bell-crank lever h oscillated by a cam k and engaging a knife-edge f carried by the lever e. The knife edge is adjustable along the lever by a screw l, and, to enable fine adjustments to be made, the knife-edge also is adjustable perpendicularly to the lever e by a screw q. An indicator u operated by a lever t engaging a cavity r in the bushing c, is provided to show the adjustments effected.
