Abstract
195,866. Houten, F. H. van. March 29, 1922. Rolling-machines.-A machine for rounding-up dough, of the type comprising a conical drum 12 rotatably mounted on a vertical standard 11 and a fixed moulding fence 42 provided with a spiral path 46, which is shaped at its inner surface to fit the drum, has the fence supported on the top of the standard 11 by a yoke 52 and a screw 16, which may be adjusted to raise the fence and vary the distance between the drum and fence, the fence being guided during adjustment by opposed pins 62 and the central standard. The yoke 52 also carries the flour sifters 76 which are operated through crank gear from the pinion 70 on the drum. The drum is driven by gearing 29, 30. To change the machine from a right to a left hand one the pins 62 are disengaged from the fence and the fence is rotated through 180‹ and re-engaged with the pins 62. Further angular position of adjustment may be provided by a series of equally spaced pins 62.
