Abstract
443,713. Electric cut-outs. CONNOLLY, A. B., 23, South Street, Havercroft, near Wakefield, Yorkshire. Aug. 2, 1934, No. 22509. [Class 38 (i)] [See also Group XI] An electric incandescent lamp is provided with a fusible conductor directly embedded within the material used for securing the cap to the bulb. The fusible conductor may be in the form of a helix 10 in series with one leading-in wire 1<c> and surrounding the other leading-in wire 1<b>. Alternatively, the fusible conductor may be in the form of a flat zigzag, or a substantially straight wire disposed between the neck of the bulb and the adjacent inner wall of the cap. The materials used for the fuse comprise copper, silver, or the material known under the Registered Trade Mark "Eureka."
