Abstract

Improvements introduced in the manufacture of incandescent electric lamps that comprise an elongated envelope of vitreous material that has crush closures at its ends, a power conductor that extends through each one of said crush closures, a helical filament that has a fusible leg portion that extends longitudinally of said envelope and is connected at its ends to the respective mentioned power conductors and a fuse support member for said filament having one of its ends wound together with a helical portion of the filament and its other end embedded in that of the aforementioned crush closures that is adjacent.
