Class 39(ii) A low voltage lamp for use more particularly in a decorative series lighting system has a filament 4 of inverted V-shape provided with an intermediate supporting-wire 5 that is sealed within a glass foot 7 and shaped to abut against the inside wall of the bulb in order to position the filament correctly, either by forming a bend or knee 19 and providing an end extension 16, both of which engage the wall of the bulb, or by bending vertically an end extension of the supporting wire so that it engages within the apex 15 of the bulb. An oxidized aluminium current bridge 9 of known type may be connected between the leading-in wires.
