442,809. Sliding - - clasp fastenings. ZOPICK, A., 3, Dessauerstrasse, Zehlendorf, Berlin. Feb. 12, 1935, No. 4503. [Class 44] The elements 1, 1<a> secured to the edges of the two stringer tapes 5, 5<a>, of a sliding-clasp fastener are forked so as to embrace the edge of the opposite stringer tape and completely overlie one another so that the width of the closure strip equals the length of the elements. The elements may be of curved or angular form when viewed from the front and may be secured on cords 3, 3<a> clamped in recesses 2 at the bottom of the forks, such fitted cords then being enfolded in the doubled-over tapes 5, 5<a> which are apertured to allow the elements to project therefrom.
