Class 20(4) [Also in Groups XXV and XXXVI] A flexible insulating strip 21 for lining an opening in a metal plate is formed on both edges with upstanding teeth 22 which grip the plate on both sides of the opening when a length of the strip is bent into position as shown in Fig. 9. The opening may be of any shape, and the teeth may be rectangular or triangular. The strip may be cut obliquely at the ends, and a long length, Fig. 13, may have gaps 40 with no teeth, and marks 43 to aid severance.
