Abstract

442,683. Cylinders. FICHTEL & SACHS AKT.-GES., Schweinfurt, Germany. Oct. 2, 1934, No. 28221. Convention date, Oct. 2 1933. Addition to 439,973 [Class 7 (ii)] In a two-stroke-engine cylinder, scavenged, as de scribed in the parent Speci fication, by two parallel currents entering tangentially through ports 7 and uniting to leave by a common port 8, the passages leading to the ports 7 are contracted and formed like nozzles, the speed of flow of the charge being thus accelerated. The piston head is domed.
