[Classes 36 and 37] The high ohmic protective resistances associated in series with transformers employed for tests and measure. ments are located in the bushing insulators through which connection is made to the high tension winding, thus replacing the normal connecting bolt. The cord resistance c is con. nected between a radiation cap e and terminal h and is surrounded by a tube g coated with graphite, the coating k having a higher resistance than the resistor c to prevent shortcircuiting thereof.
