[Class 66] To prevent the boiling-over of milk &c. a device D frusto-conical form and composed of vulcanized rubber, wood or ceramic or other poor heatconducting material is supported on an internal ledge of the vessel, as shown, or may be arranged to be suspended from the upper edge thereof. The milk &c. on boiling flows through the orifice C over the outer surface of the device and returns to the vessel through openings E.
